This folder contains a repaint for the Curtiss P-40F Warhawk by Inibuilds. It shows P-40F Kittyhawk IIA FL308 CV-V of No.3 Squadron RAAF, as flown by Sqn Ldr Bobby Gibbes. He was the longest serving commander of RAAF no.3 Squadron during WW2 and a fighter ace with officially 10.25 victories. Later, he flew in the Pacific Theatre with No.80 Wing from Darwin under Clive Caldwell. He flew the Spitfire named "Grey Nurse". After the war, among many other things, he formed Gibbes Sepik Airways in New Guinea, which flew with JU-52's he bought in Sweden. He continued to fly until he was 85 and passed away in 2009.
