| 52 helipads/heliports in Norway where helicopters can both start and land. Different kinds of helipads are used for hospitals and other kind of heliports.
Optimized to work with the World Update V: Nordics. You probably have this one installed already.
Do you own any of the hand-made and detailed helipad add-ons for Norway and want to use them instead of the helipads in this add-on?
1. Make sure MSFS is not running
2. In the community folder where the folder "f99mlu-norway-helipads" exists:
- Delete the file "layout.json".
- Rename "layout_noconflicts.json" to "layout.json".

Sure! I will add it to the non-conflict handling! I think I need to make this scriptable since it is manual work to create the non-conflict scenery file every time.

Thanks for the praise and suggestions for more ICAOs to add to the conflict handling files! It would be great to get some help with modeling 😊. I think some people want complete hospitals with realistic helipads and so on... which can be VERY time consuming to do.

Scripted the whole shebang to handle the conflicts.. hope it works fine 😊. New version out now.

This might be normal file behavior but I want to check. After installing, all of the locations do show on the MSFS world map when starting a flight. But even after updating the Little Navmap database, none of the helipads show up there, which makes it hard to go from one pad to the next. Is that just a function of how the scenery was done? Wasn't sure because other add-ons do show up on Little Navmap. Thanks.

Ålesund hospital should have a little better work, realy want that more detailed, and redone are with atleast some betterbuildings for the earea, i can get you referance photos.

"should have" is a strong wording considering this is a megapack (just like "Swedish helipads") and even if I could model buildings and stuff (which I have absolutely no skills in), it would take a looooooooooooooooong time to do hehhe.. very long... for 50 airports. Omg... And... I don´t think I could make it a free add-on then either. Spending hundreds of hours on the project. This is why it is a GitHub project. Anyone can help out! So... we need a 3d modeler now 😊. BR, f99mlu

13 more helipads are on their way.. but I have no more energy today. And tomorrow I will not be home very much. So... I will aim for Wednesday, latest, for the next release. Stay tuned!

A couple suggestions:
Seperating helipads individually:
Currently there are some helipads conflicting with specifically built scenery of better quality. Would it be possible to seperate the helipads individually so that single folders could be removed, instead of them being part of a package?
Currently there is conflict with a couple of different scenery; ENBG (Bergen, Grønneviksrøren and ENRT Rosten which I would prefer to use instead. Would be nice to use the other helipads as well with these two sceneries.

Helipad Colors:
Helipads in norway are seemingly not very colorful and rather discreet compared to the "all-red" solution. They are usually painted over a concrete/asphalt base.
-Medical helipads typically have a yellow "medic cross" with an H in the middle and yellow arrows pointing to arrival/departure routes.
-"Offsite" helipads are usually located on a parking space, edge of a pier or similar and are marked with a tag showing either just a circle, circle with an H, or just an H.

The helipad is currently located on top of the aircraft hangar which is the patient delivery-pad. Would it be better to locate the pad on the ground level to the south where the helicopters based there would start and end?
Trolleys/tractors:
If you have the capasity to add trolleys/tractors to the helipads, especially the medical ones connected to a hangar, it would lift the challenge and realism of the scenery significantly 😊

Feel free to post improvement suggestions and bug reports. Maybe the windsock placement is wrong? Maybe the helipad should be a circle instead of a square? Maybe the name of the helipad/airport is wrong? Maybe I forgot something? Just hit me with it 😊.

Thanks! There are many, many more helipads to come for Norway. Just started off with three to get an initial release. The plan is to do quite frequent releases with some helipads at the time. Starting with the most wanted ones.
