Great Helicopter for MSFS I have about 5 hours in the sim with it and I love it!
I cant fly it like this out "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRhYO9R4nzk" he has the winch with the trapdoor the guy grabs the rail getting raised on the winch!

Great helicopter! Thanks!.
Just a few questions, how do I show the pilot and passengers while in the cockpit? The body of the pilot should also be visible but the head can be hidden. Is it possible to have this feature? Perhaps also switches to turn them on instead of having to enter their weights?

Hello there. After a few hours of practice I can handle the Alouette pretty well and I like it, BUT almost everytime I fly it MSFS crashes. I have never been able to fly more than roughly 30 minutes before the game crashes (sometimes it crashes much quicker). I don't have this problem AT ALL with aircraft included with the game ( Caravan / TBM / Cabri etc...) I suspect something is wrong with your module. Please help.

Hello,
I would recommend to either check the addons that you have that would maybe cause a conlfict or simply delete all the files from the Alouette and do a fresh installation.
Every time someone else had a crash to desktop, the issues were user-end related, please let me know if you managed to fix the problem.
Best

This is actually the only addon I have. I have done a fresh reinstall. Started the game. Opened a new flight with the Alouette. Didn't even have time to take off. Game crashed. I tried the same flight with the Cabri and It worked fine.
As far As i'm concerned your addon seems bugged. We'll see if it's fixed in the future but for now it's unplayable for me.

I’m really sorry to hear that the problem isn’t fixed, unfortunately this is the only occurrence of such a fatal bug being reported.
I really hope that you will find what is causing your game to crash.
Maybe if you give me more details I can try to figure it out but sadly I cannot control how your system reacts to the Alouette.

Well I don't comment often .... but this was an instant buy for me.
I have had the privilege to fly with the dutch grasshoppers team when i was young .... many many ages ago ... man i'am getting old.
Please don't abbandon this project ... i love it and it brings back good memories

Wow. I'm having so much fun with this. Great to fly and so immersive. I wasn't really into Helicopters in MSFS. Or GA for that matter. I spent most of my time flying Airliners. But there's a whole new world to explore, low and slow. Really happy I took the plunge.

Can you please check your axis binding on the yaw? You need to make sure that you can use the anti torque pedals in order to counter-act the torque of the rotor 😊
Vliegfanaat1206 21 day(s) ago
,s no problem ?
Vliegfanaat1206 21 day(s) ago
yes okay but how can i do that, with other heli,s i have no problem.can i do that in the heli or in the menu.

I would need more information to help you,
Are you using a controller or a flight stick?
Maybe there is a conflict with another addon which causes this bug

This is my new favorite helicopter. I have almost all of the available helicopters and to me this one is the best. It flies like it should and it looks amazing. I just love the aesthetics of this thing, such a well designed machine.

Canadian user here. Credit card form does nothing when you switch to the Canada country option. If I go with the PayPal option and use a credit card, there's no way to submit/pay without it creating a PayPal account by default. If I wanted one I'd have kept my old account open. Most MSFS merchants offer the option to pay via PayPal without an account these days (simple one-time checkout with a credit card). Why is flightsim.to such a pain in the ass with this?

I only found out, in the manual, after buying this, that there are problems with VR. Fortunately, they can be fixed and this is a great VR platform if you like "old machines". Here is my review:

Finally! Finally, a developer who understands that if helicopters, in real life, have a 1m long cyclic stick, most of us simmers don't. We have maybe 5 centimeters between the pivot point and the handle... Which means, it is critical to be able to use a wider range of motion to control our aircraft.
I know, some people will prefer lowering the sensibility of the stick, but no. It's bad: You lose 95 to 98% of your device sensibility and spread the 2 remaining percent on a wider ranger: you basically turn your device into a binary stick! I'm not playing on Amiga or Amstrad anymore 😊
And Taog understood that very well and applied it perfectly to this Alouette.
The result: A very controllable aircraft which goes where you want it to go. It's so satisfying to get this fine control. It feels really well to fly!
And another point: it's predictable! I don't know why, I don't know how, but you don't have to constantly readjust your power (collective) because suddenly you had too much, and it climbs like crazy or two little, and it falls like a brick... No, the power is smoother than on most helicopters. More linear. Is it true to life? I don't care, I'm not using a very long collective with a super fine feeling. Once again, my throttle input has a limited range and this behavior suits my rig very well.
And above all that, the Alouette is beautiful, a lot of visual details everywhere, a lot of features, gorgeous sounds, everything is perfect about this machine. Thanks again Taog for this incredible work... I am so excited about your future creations. And always keep this great handling philosophy at the core of your helicopters!

Seigneur Frites,
Je vous remercie énormément pour ce commentaire complet et amical 😀
Je continue à travailler sur cet hélicoptère pour essayer de le rendre encore plus plaisant pour ses pilotes!
Looking forward to also see your work come to fruition soon!!
Cheers!

I have just purchased this magnificent Alouette III and I am completely satisfied! I would still make a few comments: First remark: In terms of sound! While excellent as a whole, the cabin whistle varying with the demand for power increase or decrease is unreal and quite unbearable, or, at the very least, way too much! I think it would be good to modify this effect... personal opinion but I have no memory of such a sound inside the cabin! Second remark: At the same time that the holding of the device is much too sensitive, making it almost impossible to hold in constant level, but this problem seems inherent in all MSFS helicopters! A solution ? Third remark: The "hold" of the aircraft on the "ground effect" landing seems to me too weak during the action on the collective, making the "landing" too brutal! So ! just a few remarks of personal sensations from my experience! This Alouette III remains excellent and so beautiful! Superb achievement which probably requires some improvements to make it an exceptional model! Thank you for this wonderful device. Sorry for my English

Very nice chopper! Love the way it flies, and visuals and sounds are awesome. The pitch calculator is a really nice unique instrument as well.

Thank you! Thank you!! I used to fly around on Alouette's (both Lama's and III's) fighting forest fires for the US Forest Service in the West in the 1970's as both a hotshot and helitack crew member. I am also quite familiar with the St. Anthony Denver Flight for Life program of the 1970's, the very first hospital-based civilian emergency helicopter transport service starting in 1972. The managers were quite astute in picking the Alouette III to inaugurate that program.
