IMPORTANT NOTE
ALL MY LIVERIES FOR THE FLYINSIDE BELL 47G2 ARE ONLY GOOD UP TO VERSION 2.5. IF YOU HAVE UPDATED TO ANY MORE RECENT VERSION MY LIVERIES WILL NOT DISPLAY AS I WOULD LIKE.
I AM AFRAID THIS IS A LONG TERM THING AS I DON'T SEE THE MODEL ACHIEVING A STANDARD I CAN SUPPORT FOR A LONG WHILE TO COME. THIS IS DUE TO MANY INCOSISTENCIES IN THE TEXTURE MAPPING THAT ARE CHANGING WITH EACH UPDATE. ONE DAY PERHAPS.
THE CURE - DELETE MY TEXTURES OR REVERT THE MODEL TO v2.5 UNTIL FLYINSIDE MANAGE A SINGLE STANDARD.
I AM VERY SORRY ABOUT THIS AND APOLOGISE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.
Hi folks, here is my second livery upload for msfs. This livery is only for the Flyinside Bell 47G2 and depicts a British Army Bell 47 Sioux, license built by Westland and based with 657 squadron AAC in Bournemouth Barracks in Soltau, Germany. I actually worked on the real XT176 as an aircraft technician in the 70's and even had "you have" flying time with a former Blue Eagles pilot.
Caveats - The real Brit Army Sioux were G3 variants with turbocharger. Also, pundits will know that the cockpit layout is not "as per" and that there are markings missing on the bubble canopy. I think Flyinside are working on some of these needs and may implement them one day.
I should also add that the main textures are in 8096 x 8096 to give maximum close up detail
To install, you must have the payware Flyinside Bell 47G2 installed. Simply unzip the downloaded zipfile either direct into your community folder or to a "storage" folder and then move it to your community folder.
By the way, if you do find anything on my uploads that "irritate" you, i.e. you know better because you have more accurate details, then please. please. please let me know. I will fix what I can.
To all who have downloaded my liveries so far - first of all thanks for your trust and likes!
Now, Flyinside are definitely rebuilding their model and they have assured me there will be changes that I can use. The problem will be that they are going to remap textures to the 3D model in a more economical method. Tha will mean a full new model update for all of us and we painters will have to redo our liveries from scratch.
So while we wait for this to happen, I would really like you kind folks to keep using the current liveries and let me know of any paint errors, no matter how small they might seem. I will try to fix anything you find and incorporate the fixes in the updated model.

Thanks for the liveries, which offer some new options for the Bell. Any chance to do a livery showing the Bell Telecopter used by KTLA, the first helicopter to broadcast live on-air, which first flew on July 3, 1958? I know it may not be exactly like the original, but it would be a great livery to have, just having the KTLA logo there. Maybe someone can add the other elements, but having an historical "news" helicopter like this in MSFS would be fun.

Hi, just tried download this, for some strange reason it is saving it as your Blue Eagles mod.

Correct! I had indeed dragged and dropped the Eagles livery in to both paints. Re-uploaded and hopefully all is well now.
I hope I have it fixed now - I will DL a copy myself just to make sure...
