This is the original Kai Tak International Airport Pilot's Guide we released with our airport scenery add-on way back in 2008. With the recent release of several payware and freeware versions of the airport, we thought even though the Pilot’s Guide was released over 10 years ago the information it contains is quite interesting and relevant for those flying into the checkerboard approach today.
It is a fascinating read, especially for those who have never experienced Kai Tak.
Topics include:
A historical view of the airport from the Control Tower
Shooting the IGS with Tips and Tricks
Plane Spotting (world re-known for being one of best locations for plane spotting heavies during its day.)
Kai Tak Airport Information
Approach charts and maps
We have also included an article about our airport that was in the South China Morning Post.
No installation is required as it is a .pdf file. Simply unzip to a folder of your choice and Happy Reading!

Wow, I still have FS 2004 and FSX with your airport on it. My first flight in was 1964 and I never have forgotten that experience! Can you not think of doing your own Kai Tak?
