Working on objects found on site and positioning per real life strips using local guides.
New handcrafted Lilydale aero clubhouse, archery buildings, hangers, signage, lighting, etc.
Updated gable markers and numerous static objects utilising:

This Lib is needed for the airport as it massively reduces issues associated with LOD Popping in of runway markers on approach.
To take full advantage of this little airports scenery the following libraries are recommended:

I'd like to thank those of the community that have provided Freeware libraries to enhance these airports around the world for the enjoyment of the flightsim community and give full credit to their creations.

Hi! This is awesome! I love all the effort you've gone to for this interesting airfield! I particularly like the details such as the archery club and the signs. Bravo! I notice that the grass texture for the airport seems quite dark... almost as if the soil is black? Do you think that's the way it should be?

did you know there are a couple of spelling errors (feild x 2) on the white warning signs? Not sure what they're like in IRL....but just thought you might like to know

Thanks for the heads up on that - "I" before "e" except after "c" :)

Thanks for your great work! I fly regularly out of YLIL, let me know if you need any info, I'll be happy to help.

Most welcome Sandy, it's been a fun learning exercise for me and it's great that people seem to like the work. I do have some queries that you might be able to help with. For the 3 runways and where exactly they are, I found some guides on that online but applying that to the map is a tad confusing. Am I right that there is a main runway for takeoff and touch and go, another for landing and a small one just for Jabiru? Also any pictures of items that are essential to the Lilydale experience would be good (front facing centered on the facade if it's a building). have been meaning to go out there for some site pictures but havent had time so everything I have put together is based on aerial maps and google images. Cheers DD

It would definitely help if you re-labeled this "YLIL - Lilydale" (instead of dogdoor)

Learnt to fly at YLIL in the 90's. Thanks

That must have been a blast, envious of that. If you had any items to suggest to up the realism at this airport - given your experience I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.
