The perfect short flight from Juneau! Missing from MSFS's database until now. Code is EXI. Narrow strip made for small craft, but wide enough to put down an EMB-110 or Baron 58.
Excursion Inlet has had a fishing cannery since 1891. The current plant, constructed in 1918, still functions to this day. It mostly processes pink and chum salmon, as well as salmon roe, salmon caviar, halibut and sablefish. It is located near the mouth of the inlet, about 40 miles (64 km) west of Juneau. Its seasons run from late June to mid-September. Excursion Inlet Cannery is one of the largest fish canneries in the world and was acquired by Ocean Beauty Seafoods in 2003.
The landing strip at Excursion Inlet is not in MSFS by default, and the road it is on is unlandably bumpy. This custom airport scenery adds a previously unlandable field to the sim, and makes it an official world airport with parking points. There is one gravel strip and a seaplane runway/dock. Along with the airstrips, objects have been placed along the runway, throughout the entire town/cannary, the "Bear Lodge" 2 miles south, and most docks in the area. The coastline and vegitation has also been modified, as well as the large lake nearby that was previously rendered as grass.
There is a second un-official seaplane landing dock and cove south of the cannary along the cliffs. Beers are still cold.

Amazing work! Too bad Asobo can't seem to figure out their weather textures. Arrived in 13c temps and everything was frozen, iced over and covered in snow.
