Asobo + JPL Cessna C152 - Dark Cockpit Panel
I never was a big fan of beige in aircraft, so I changed the cockpit panel to a dark grey. I also did a few little tweaks to the seats to make them less shiny. You probably won't notice a big difference
This package will work with both the stock Asobo C152 as well as the JP Logistics C152 mod (not required).
Installation:
Just drag and drop into your Community folder.
Best wishes

I just installed this and it looks great. However, it also obscured the radio panel. I can turn the knobs but don't see the frequencies. Any idea how to fix this?
P. S. I'm using JP Logistics' C152.

Hi,
Thanks. Unfortunately I cannot recreate the problem. Are you using the current version of the JPL C152, and (sorry to ask but ...) did you turn the radios on? Contrary to the default C152, they are switched off when cold and dark.

My MSFS kept crashing, so I dumped my community folder and added one addon at a time. I am sorry to report that after I added yours my simulator crashed every time. I deleted your folder and my sim sung like a nightingale. I like dark things and I would have liked your addon if it worked. You can PM for system details if you like.
UPDATE: I have been using this addon for awhile now and it is solid! Thank you!

Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately I cannot reproduce the problem. Texture mods like this one are unlikely to cause crashes since they only substitute 'pictures' so to speak, and don't alter anything substantial. And so far I haven't had anyone notify me of a problem. But MSFS works in mysterious ways sometimes.
Have you tried re-downloading? Are you using other mods with the C152?

extracted 1.5 to the community folder doesn't work what do I wrong?

Can't tell you. Working perfectly here.
Are you using it with the JPL or the Asobo version? Does it work with either of them? Are you maybe using a livery that already has a different panel?

Works perfectly.
Both the ASOBO-C152 and JPL-C152 work properly.
It also works with Simflight's Textron Aviation mod and Bagolu's Neofly Banner Tow mod.

Great Mod... Sadly, it disables the VR yoke manipulators on the Textron Aviation Cessna 152. I only use Touch Controllers so have had to revert to beige.
Would be great if you could fix it... Best Regards.

Hi. Thanks.
Sorry I don't use VR. Also under normal circumstances a simple texture shouldn't be able to have an influence on VR behaviour. So I can't help you there.
You can always make a backup of the appropriate files in the OneStore folder and copy them there directly.

Good intention and implementation (doing drag and drop instead replacing files), but the mod doesn't work with the latest JPLogistics Mod

Put a z in front of the folder name. Should work then

These textures are excellent. Thanks for your effort and sharing these; also for your consideration of the superb JPL mod which is the only version I fly. I do indeed notice and appreciate the seat shine reduction and also some subtle wear areas for the interior. Nicely done. Only problem I seem to have is getting your cockpit panel to show in the JPL-specific liveries when dropping the file into community folder. The interior textures show but not the dark cockpit panel. Wondering if there may be some sort of conflict...I note all the JPL liveries contain a panel.cfg file.
Of course, one can always copy your cockpit panel files into the specific livery and edit the layout.json but if you see another way around this it would be good to know.

Thank you for your kind words. I also only fly the JPL mod. Asobo really should consider buying and implementing it as standard.
