This little grass airstrip didn't exist in the sim. It is also a nice place to takeoff and move towards the north of the valley, where Matterhorn is located.
Info: I did some terraforming around the area, made the airstrip inclination as close to real life as possible and I saw many real life videos of the airport, to get an idea of how the place looks and feels like, to eventually make the scenery fairly realistic with the available default objects the SDK provides us with.
Version 1.2 : Added aerial imagery for the uncovered area , since there wasn't any Bing imagery coverage.(Some pixelation may be visible on roads)The textures overall for the airstrip and the surrounding area are more realistic. - I remade all vegetation polygons. - Made the airstrip details, boundaries and width more realistic (It is more of a challenge now! ). -Added the missing power towers and cable car/ towers around the airport and village.
Video of the beautiful airstrip : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hk1ScW-_trg
Also the surrounding area is one of the few in the valley without Bing's satellite coverage. I tried fixing some of the ground cover textures that looked off ,the terrain on the mountain and the forests around the airstrip, so as to get a resemblance of the real topology and vegetation of the area.
Installation: -Paste "nikprist-ao02" and "ao02 aerial imagery" folders into:
*(You can choose to install only the scenery folder "nikprist-ao02" if you experience issues with the aerial scenery addon,or you can add both of them for a complete experience.) Enjoy!
-For Microsoft Store: %localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_xxx......\LocalCache\Packages\Community
-For Steam: C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Microsoft Flight Simulator create "Community" folder.
You can also install my other addon for an extremely detailed Matterhorn mountain. Link: https://flightsim.to/file/197/matterhorn-mountain
Caution: Matterhorn add on may kill performance in some instances.
TRIVIA: Italy’s very first high-altitude airport (altiport) was built in Chamois in 1967 and is located along the path that leads to the village of Suis. Made only for ultra-light and touring aircraft, it has a grass runway going in the direction of the valley floor with a gradient of between 12% and 20%: taking off is downhill and landing is uphill. Scenic flights of the Matterhorn are available, as well as the opportunity to take flying lessons.
Thank´s a lot. Challenging landing. This is fun. Beautiful scene. Great airstrip

RE: SU5 compatibility:
In SU5 and WU6, FS crashes to desktop when landing in Chamois of this version.
I think it is not SU5 compatible, see video:

Yes, I've confirmed this multiple times. I almost thought it was OK just now, but it locked up and CTD's just as it started rolling after landing. I suspect it may be a mesh issue? Pity, such a great strip to see it abandoned. It doesn't matter if you don't use the aerial image package, it still CTD's.

it works with last updates but sometimes crashes when looking back or descending at the airport. also the scenery needs to be disabled (second mod in the package)

No, it doesn't work. It CTD's on landing whether you use the aerial image pack or not.

Great strip, but unfortunately in WU6 it now gives a CTD every time you try to land. Take off seems ok. But both times I tried to land MSFS froze when I touched down at the landing points. Once in the stock Husky, once in the XCub.
