This mod has started to take shape with a lot more accurate characteristics for an A318ceo as originally intended by LVFR
Please make sure that if you're updating from a previous installation that you delete the old files from your community folder, and then extract / copy the updated ones back in there. Do NOT Overwrite
Installation Steps
- Step 1: Make sure that you do own a Genuine Copy of LVFR A318
- Step 2: Make sure that said genuine copy is installed and updated to the latest by LVFR
- Step 3: Make sure to remove any previous versions of the mod from your community folder: "zLVFR-A318-FBW-Compatibility"
- Step 4: Download the updated version from here
- Step 5: Once downloaded extract the folder: "lvfr-horizonsim-airbus-a318-ceo" into your Community Folder
- Step 6: From the FlyByWire or from the Headwind Installer install SimBridge
- Step 7: If you're using GSX download our GSX profiles for the aircraft
Notes:
- FlyByWire A32NX is not required for the mod to work
- We do NOT recommend installing any other improvement mods, or any additional mods for the LatinVFR A318 alongside this mod, as they could interfere with the FlyByWire systems.
!! A genuine copy of LVFR A318 is needed for this mod to work !! This mod works independently from FBW but install FlyByWire Simbridge from the FBW Installer.

FEATURES:
- EFB
- Selectable Radio Altimeter Callouts
- GSX Boarding & Deboarding
- GSX Refueling
- Adjusted LNAV/VNAV to match flight model
- Re-balanced CG based on Airbus documentation
- Re-worked speed tables based on Airbus documentation
- Updated Fuel Prediction algorithms to account for lower ZFW of A318
- Updated OPT, MAX altitude calculations
- "Newlight" mod integration - All credit goes to Nicottine
- SimBrief Import
- FBW Cockpit Textures
- Correct Aircraft type in MCDU
- Correct Aircraft type in CPDLC
- Correct Engine type in MCDU
- Correct fuel capacity / model
- Correct engine thurst values / model
- FBW Development version:
- 118 passenger capacity for the CFM models based on Air France's layout
- EU style business class seats that are a bit wider simulating the middle seat not being used
- 32 passenger capacity for the ACJ models based on British Airways' full Club World layout
- In-house developed sounds for the CFM engines
- EFB Ground Services
- GSX Support
KNOWN ISSUES:
- LVFR's cabin is only visible from the outside
- This is not something that we can resolve due to how LVFR handles their models within the simulator as they have their cockpit and cabin models created as one unit.
- Therefore when we integrate FlyByWire systems the interior is not going to be visible as we're replacing the cockpit altogether resulting in the cabin being gone on internal views

Slowe
1. I'm getting the old ' You need to set parking brakes to enable ground services' message when using GSX
2. The TO CONFIG button doesn't work - the checklist didn't appear on the ECAM
Not sure if it's just me or if anyone else is experiencing this.

I use all your other mods and they work great! I just went to start using the A318 but when I extract the Compatibility Mod it gives me one error on a file and says it's too long. I just clicked skip and am wondering if that will impact the Mod at all. Thanks!

Update: Yes it did break the Compatibility Mod, I have no avionics but the fly pad works lol. Guess there is something on my end preventing me from being able to add the Mod to my Community Folder.

Thank you so much for this. I absolutely love the A318, and this mod adds up so much to the experience.
As I look forward for future updates and improvements, I enjoy every minute spent inside my beautiful baby bus.

Use our own official GSX profiles that have been created specifically for this reason that can be found on our profile.
Please make sure that you delete any previous GSX.cfg files from the appropriate folders and to do a clean install of profiles, and the mod. And disable chocks and cones from the EFB's Settings

i cant see the exterior of the plane

What exactly do you mean by that?
You only have a cockpit showing up when loading into the mod?
If yes, you might have a livery that's not working correctly. Or you do not actually have the LVFR A318ceo installed, which is a requirement for this mod to work as stated in the mod description.
You can see through the entire plane, through the cabin windows?
If this is the actual problem, then please see previous comments about this, and read #known-issues on our Discord.
