This scenery has been replaced by an enhanced version available from shuntscenery.com
This is our first scenery which is YCDR (Caloundra) located in eastern Queensland Australia.
Caloundra Aerodrome is owned and operated by council. The site was reserved as an aircraft landing ground in 1931. Activities at the aerodrome include general aviation-related businesses, light fixed wing aircraft and helicopters.
The site is approximately 145 hectares and includes two sealed runways. These are runway 05/23 and runway 12/30, which are both 795m long and 18m wide. The aerodrome is surrounded by urban development in the east, north and west. Recent approvals for Caloundra South will add urban development to the south. Approximately 40,000 take offs and landings happen at the aerodrome each year. Most of Caloundra’s air traffic is flight training, mainly helicopter flight training.
All feedback welcome and appreciated!

Long time FSX user but new to MSFS. Delighted to find your good work with my local airport Caloundra but find Runway 30 like landing on the side of a hill. Caloundra is relatively flat. Is there any way you can flatten it out?

It can be fixed in DevMode->Scenery Editor->Select Windsock->View Gizo->Change Heading from 179 to 0.
Its a bug in the dev kit.

The trees down the left side of RWY23 are all paperbark trees for reference and are a lot smaller in height than what the sim represents 😀
If you plan on doing anything extra custom wise, let me know I may be able to go and take some photos if you're not a local
Cheers for doing this!!
