One for those Gazans with broken wings. This airport had a very short life indeed but I thought it would be fun to fly from.
For a site of national importance it's quite amazing how little visual info there is about it.
There is no photographic record I could find of the layout of the buildings, or the buildings, other than one 2008 satellite shot of the ruins so it's partially made up and partially guessed. You do see the odd glimpse of a hangar on Youtube but Bill Clinton is usually in the way.
Rather embarrassingly if you Google image the airport this mod is now one of the most prominent results.
The terminal is the most, and pretty much only, photographed building but there's no way of replicating it with SDK items so I just did a weird-looking lash up with some others.
There are several large parking spots for airliners on the main apron and some small GA ones to the side. Fuel trucks and a fuel bay are available.

Clears up some howlers. Adds some more detail and life in general here and there including the approaches. Realigns the ILS, though it probably still don't work. I've left the folder name the same.

Just question about the ILS, it didn't work.. and I noticed something in the description above mentioning something about the ILS not working? Is there some limitation impacting this or is there hope it will be fixed in the future? Thanks.

It would be nice to Improved the Airport to have the real atmosphäre when LVGZ was working !

Thanks for this, good job.

If you do a Google image search of "Gaza Airport", you will see many images of the tower, the terminal building, and its surroundings. Hopefully this scenery is updated with a realistic 3D model of at least the tower and main terminal.

Latest download folder is still named with 1.2 version

Yes. I used to name the folder after each version but that stops you from cutting and pasting over the old one. So I left it.

The airport code should be LGVZ instead of LVGZ

The ICAO is, or was, correct. I started off with LGVZ until it was pointed out that was wrong.
