How to create and manage bundles
Bundles allow you to combine several of your products in one pre-build shopping cart. A user who purchases the bundle will receive all products in the bundle in their account. It is recommended to set the bundle price lower than the price the customer would normally have to pay for each of the products within the bundle. This encourages customers to buy multiple products, and it is also much more convenient and straightforward for the customer to buy multiple products, ideally products that belong together in some way.
What do you need to consider when creating a bundle?
Bundles must contain at least two products and can contain a maximum of six products. Only a few pieces of information are needed for bundles, as a bundle is basically just a listing of your individual products. When a customer buys the bundle, they get all the products in it into their account and can download the products. Any license keys that may be required will be included. In technical theory, it behaves as if the customer buys each product separately, but pays for them in total.
Do I need to manage, moderate or update my bundle?
No, a bundle is just a collection of products. If you update one of your products inside the bundle, it is not necessary to update the bundle as well, this will happen automatically.
Important Notes
- The bundle thumbnail image is generated by our team. You can upload a custom thumbnail image. Please make sure it is sized exactly 800 x 800 pixels.
- Picture this: When a customer purchases a bundle containing products A and B, they gain immediate access to both items. In your Sales report, you'll notice an entry displaying a price of $0.00 for these products. This zero-cost purchase signifies that the products were acquired as part of a bundle, and the compensation was allocated to the bundle itself. Consequently, the compensated purchase will be reflected in the bundle's reports.
- For accounting and reporting purposes, a bundle behaves like a standalone product.
